Privacy Policy for ARTA POS

Effective date: 14 June 2026 · Last updated: 14 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ARTA POS (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App. ARTA POS is a point-of-sale application for retail businesses, published by Ida Bagus Made Rai Suartama (“the Developer”).

If you have any questions, contact us at: contact@kronoskomputer.com

Summary

ARTA POS is designed to work primarily on your device. Your business data (products, sales, customers, staff accounts, and reports) is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database and is not transmitted to or stored on any server operated by the Developer. We do not operate a backend, and we do not collect or sell your business data.

The App requires an internet connection to display advertisements and to process optional subscription purchases. These features involve third-party services described below.

1.Information stored on your device

The following data is created and stored locally on your device only. It is held in an encrypted (SQLCipher/AES) database and never sent to the Developer:

  • Business records: products, categories, suppliers, purchase orders, sales transactions, stock adjustments, and reports.
  • User accounts: staff usernames, roles, and passwords. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes — never in plain text.
  • Store settings: store name, address, receipt footer, currency, tax rate, language, theme, and paired printer identifier.
  • Audit log: a record of key actions taken within the App.
  • Images: product photos you add, stored on your device.

You remain in control of this data. Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.

2.Device permissions and why we use them

  • Internet — to load advertisements and process subscription purchases.
  • Camera — to scan product barcodes. Camera images are processed on-device for scanning and are not uploaded.
  • Photos / media (read) — to let you choose product images from your device.
  • Bluetooth (scan/connect) — to connect to receipt printers and barcode scanners. This is used only for device pairing and printing; no personal data is transmitted to the Developer.
  • Approximate location — required by older Android versions (Android 11 and below) solely to enable Bluetooth scanning for printers/scanners. The App does not use, store, or share your location.

3.Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect data under their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob (advertising)

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (including the advertising ID), IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

RevenueCat (subscription management)

Optional “Pro” subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat, which manages purchase and entitlement data and assigns an anonymous app-user identifier. RevenueCat’s policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Google Play Billing (payments)

Subscription payments are handled by Google Play. The Developer does not receive or store your payment card details. Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4.How we use information

  • To provide point-of-sale functionality (handled locally on your device).
  • To display advertisements (via AdMob).
  • To enable and restore optional subscriptions (via RevenueCat / Google Play).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

5.Data sharing

We do not share your business data with anyone. Limited data is shared only with the third-party services listed in Section 3, strictly to provide ads and subscriptions, and only as described in their policies.

6.Data retention and deletion

  • On-device data is retained until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.
  • Third-party data (AdMob, RevenueCat, Google Play) is retained according to those providers’ policies.

To request deletion of any data held by third-party services, refer to the respective provider’s privacy policy, or contact us at the email above.

7.Account and data deletion

All accounts and data in ARTA POS are stored locally on your device. There is no server-side account or data held by the Developer, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

To delete a user account: sign in as an administrator, open Settings → User Management, select the user, and delete (or deactivate) the account. This removes that account from the device.

To delete all app data (all accounts, products, sales, settings, images, and the audit log): uninstall ARTA POS from your device. Uninstalling permanently and immediately removes the app’s encrypted database and all associated data from the device. No data is retained after uninstall.

Data handled by third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat, Google Play Billing) is governed by those providers’ policies; see Section 3 to request deletion from them.

8.Children’s privacy

ARTA POS is a business tool intended for use by adults (retail operators). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9.Security

Business data on your device is stored in an encrypted database. Account passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure; you are responsible for securing physical access to the device on which the App is installed.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
